NRW-Kampagne “We love the new” gestartet

NRW We love the new

  1. Erinnert mich stark an diverse ThyssenKrupp Kampagnen.

    3. Der Slogan “We love the new” ist schon sehr bemüht “Internationalität” ausstrahlend.
Fazit: Kann man wohl besser machen!

  3. Wie laaf se new market! :-D

    Logo // Slogan // Claim – Pro7
    Bilder – Berliner Wasser

  4. What a bunch of legbiters and smartshitters. None of you has something better to do or what? Why dont you go all f… yourself. (find)

  5. Hi!

‘we love the new’….another classic from a German advertising agency…I am sorry but when are they going to get it? ‘we love the new’ sounds like someone forgot to finish the sentence…..there is an expression “out with the old, in with the new”…..which is widely known in English…..it is a pretty dated statement but it is widely known…..now….”we love the new” on the other hand sounds like something that a certain politician from BW would say….if any of you don’t know who I am talking about….try Utube….the guy’s name starts with Günther as far as I know……

Did they choose this because it fits nicely? It means absolutely nothing – even to a native speaker……this phrase may be remembered by an audience which speaks English….but probably for all the wrong reasons….it is nearly as bad as “come in and find out” from a certain chain which sells perfume. Why can German advertising agencies not come up with something which actually makes some sense…..Audi used a German slogan to sell their cars in Ireland and England…”Vorsprung durch Technik”….hardly anyone knows what it means but everyone ( albeit a somewhat older audience ) knows it…

Sorry about the rant but I pay tax in NRW and as such have presumably contributed to the cost of this waste of money. I wonder how many of the politicians pronounce the slogan as “ve loov zu new”! ?? ; )
