We achieve positive economic, ecological, and social results for our clients through a digital transformation of their energy and building management. We solve the fundamental problems of building energy efficiency and are thus able to reduce CO2 emissions. KUGU thereby contributes to a neutral CO2 footprint.

We are an international team of techies, designers, and business wannabes. We share a common passion for new technologies with positive impacts while simplifying and improving the lives of our customers and users.

Berlin!Your mission

  • You understand the real pain points of our customers and users and build scalable solutions, that delight them
  • You define the design principles, brand guidelines and drive user-first- thinking culture across KUGU
  • You ideate, prototype, contribute and lead design decisions with your stakeholders
  • Manage designers‘ workloads and help them plan, prioritize, coordinate, and execute on their daily tasks through effective processes
  • User-first thinking attitude forms the basis of needs-based design decisions
  • You ensure a high quality of research data and share it transparently

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design
  • Comfortable to manage a team and leading by example with a strong creative vision
  • Supporting your colleagues in developing their potential through open and honest communication
  • Mediate in your collaboration with different stakeholders
  • You have solid experience along the design thinking process and planning as well as execution of design projects within a startup
  • You have a very good English skills and have worked in an international environment before
  • You speak German? That’s a big plus… our users are mostly located in Germany!
